Malabath Entertainment was founded by Mabuti Ng'andu, a Zambian-born music enthusiast. The family business' original goal was to produce quality African fusion music. Originally just Malabath Music, the companys focus has now expanded to include independent motion picture production. Malabath Entertainment is a parent holding company of two subsidiaries, Malabath Music and Bantu Motion.

We have operations in Lusaka, Zambia and Banning, California. Malabath Entertainment has taken on the challenge of promoting contemporary African musical and theatrical art as expressed by talented young Africans who would otherwise not have the opportunity and resources to develop and perform their material.

Malabath Music is an independent music label dedicated to promoting African Musical talent that is both family-friendly and entertaining. We are committed to improving the quality of African recordings and will not shy away from other musical influences that color current popular music.

Bantu Motion's mission is "to tell the African story in the Bantu way." We pride ourselves as twenty-first century griots, maintaining that age-old tradition of moral story telling which our ancestors so proudly upheld.
