LALA: BLESS HIS NAME
Lala has completed the work on her sophomore Album, "Bless His Name". The Zambian gospel songstress' album is now in factory preparation and will be on the market this summer (winter, in Zambia). Significantly more soulful than her debut, the album strikes a beautiful balance between traditional Zambian spiritual chants ("Luyando Lupati"), and contemporary Soul-influenced gospel music ("I Know"). The title track, "Bless His Name" is a strong praise groove guaranteed to make you want to clap, tap, shout and yell in praise. LIVING JOY: ZVAKANGONAKA
Mildred, Moirah and Tiwirayi's two year quest to complete their debut project has finally come to an end, and their album, "Zvakangonaka" will finally be unleashed. Their hard work will be immediately appreciated by listeners who are sure to enjoy the twelve track variety of music influenced by RnB, Ragga, and traditional Zimbabwean music. The artist formerly known as Raggamann returns under a new name - Chinga. That also happens to be his middle name. Mabuti Ng'Andu, producer artist at Malabath Music previously released his debut album "Dance With Me" under the stage name "RaggaMann", a nick-name he picked up in College thanks to his love for the Jamaican fusion of rap and reggae. His music, however, has diversified significantly and cannot be accurately described as "Ragga", hence the name change. Look for the up-coming album this summer, which has retained some of the original tracks from "Dance With Me". It is a creative mixture of enchanting love songs, and some of the harder dance tracks.
