Miss Africa International currently resides in Loma Linda, California where she is a practicing Registered Nurse. The pagaent event was on Saturday, October 29 2005 at the Warner Theatre in Washington DC. We salute her achievement, not only in winning the crown, but in her personal efforts in fighting HIV/AIDS in Africa. Jabbes Mvula is making Zambian history by directing a movie feature in Zambia, based on Samuel Kasankha's play by the same name.

Miss Zambia International 2006

On October 28, 2006, Nakabinga Katadula was crowned Miss Zambia International 2006 in a hotly contested pagaent. The Atlanta, Georgia event also included performances by the sensational Ngosa Brothers, Danny "Loverboy" Siulapwa and Jordan "JK" Katembula.
